Answer: Our Head Office is in Hull as is our National Distribution Centre, with 35 trading branches across the UK and growing. Details of our Branch network and their contact details can be found on this website.
Question: How long have Arco been in business?
Answer: The Company was founded in 1884 and has been owned by the Martin family since 1907. In 2004 we celebrated our 120 year anniversary.
Question: If a job is posted on this site, does this mean that it is still open?
Answer: It is our policy to remove jobs once they are filled so any job posted on this site should be current.
Question: Do you post all vacancies within Arco?
Answer: It is our policy to advertise all vacancies internally and therefore many positions are filled by internal candidates without external advertising.
Question: Do you advertise vacancies via other media?
Answer: Job advertisements are also placed in local newspapers and relevant internet job sites.
Question: Do Arco have a specific graduate scheme?
Answer: At the present time there is no group-wide structured graduate scheme in operation.
Question: What will happen to my CV?
Answer: Any documentation you send will be kept in confidential company files for a duration of six months in line with data protection legislation. After 6 months all paperwork is destroyed.
