Following the successful completion of a rigorous evaluation and selection process, Arco, the UK's leading safety company has announced that it has been awarded a Buying Solutions Framework Agreement for the provision of PPE Safety Equipment/Training and Corporate Wear to the public sector.
Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for UK public services, enabling Government departments and other public sector bodies to improve value for money and efficiency through using this service. Under the Buying Solutions framework that took effect from 1 October 2009, all public sector bodies will have access to a wide range of Arco products, being assured of the quality of Arco's service. The framework provides bodies with a simple and effective way of sourcing their PPE and corporate wear.

As a rigorous OJEU selection process has been completed by Buying Solutions, public sector customers buying products and services from Arco through this trading arrangement can also feel safe in the knowledge that all the tendering procedures are EU compliant. In addition Buying Solutions can automatically track the levels of savings that each public body is achieving in utilizing this framework and generating a customer savings letter than helps them meet their Governmental targets.
