Arco, the leading safety supplier, is encouraging businesses in Hull to swap their usual workwear for Fairtrade workwear during Fairtrade Fortnight.
As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, which is running from the 22nd February to 7th March, the Fairtrade Foundation is asking people to swap their normal purchases with Fairtrade goods. Each swap will be proof that Arco customers want producers around the world to get a better deal.
So, instead of purchasing your usual t-shirts and polo-shirts, Arco is encouraging businesses in Hull to consider its Fairtrade range available at its branch in Waverley Street.
Gerard Gibbons, Regional Sales Manager at Arco in Hull said: "From the 22nd February to 7th March we are encouraging businesses to support the Fairtrade Foundation and take part in the Big Swap and swap their usual workwear items for Fairtrade clothing.
In fact, as a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative
(ETI), we only source products from manufacturers that adhere to our principles
of fair trade and respect for workers globally. We are proud to offer a range of
Fairtrade clothing, including t-shirts and polo shirts for men and women which
offer quality and value for money for our customers, at the same time as helping
small-scale farmers in the developing world."
