Arco Extends It's CSR Programme Worldwide To Help Those In Need In Haiti

Hull-based Arco, the UK's leading safety company today made a significant donation to the Disasters Emergency Committee to help support the relief effort in Haiti following the recent catastrophic earthquake.

Dedicated to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, Arco continually demonstrates its support of local business communities and charitable organisations, donating in excess of 1% of pre-tax profits annually. Today this support has been extended across the globe to help those most in need in Haiti. Joint Managing Directors, Thomas Martin and Nick Hildyard said: "We�re sure many people, like us, have been deeply moved by the tragic scenes from Haiti. At today�s Board meeting here at Arco�s head office in Hull, the Directors were unanimous in our decision to make an immediate and meaningful donation to help the relief effort. We hope other businesses in the region might consider making a donation to help bring desperately needed aid."
