Arco Helps Spread the Joy at Christmas Time

Volunteers in the North East of England will be able to wrap up warmly, stylishly and safely this Christmas with jackets and high-visibility vests donated by the leading local supplier of workwear safety products, Arco, to the volunteers of the Cash for Kids charity.

The charity has been given three of Arco's 3-in-1 jackets and ten high-visibility vests to keep volunteers safe and warm while sorting toys for collection at their warehouse this Christmas.

Katy Winterschladen, Cash for Kids Executive said: "We would like to thank Arco for the fabulous jackets; they look amazing and are so comfortable. Everyone is very envious of our Cash for Kids Jackets! We travel all around Tees Valley, South County Durham and North Yorkshire and have already distributed over £20,000 worth of toys to the neediest local children. Arco is helping us make a significant difference to thousands of lives."

Andrew Coyne, the branch manager of Arco in Stockton said: "We wanted to help Cash for Kids in some way, the work they do is excellent and Arco is committed to supporting organisations like this in our local community. As the UK's leading supplier of workwear and workplace safety products we thought it would be fitting to donate these jackets to the volunteers to help keep them safe and warm while they are carrying out such a commendable task."

Cash for Kids works in conjunction with local radio station, TMF Radio. The charity delivers initiatives for sick and underprivileged children in the local community, to benefit local children and give the neediest a better and brighter future. With cash raised and donated locally, the charity guarantees that generous donations from listeners and the community will go to bring, hope, healing or happiness to a child in the local area - especially in this festive season.

Arco has a long and proud history of responsible business practice and of commitment to the community. Earlier this year, Arco became a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), an alliance of 44 companies, 17 NGOs and 4 major trade union organisations, the Initiative is working to promote and improve the implementation of corporate codes of practice that cover supply chain working conditions.
