Across the country, Arco employees have been going the extra mile in a bid to raise money for charity.
April and May will be very busy months...
Arco West Bromwich
The West Bromwich team have volunteered to support the branch's chosen charity 'Help for Heroes', by signing up to a gruelling 12 week programme of fitness and nutritional guidance.
This hard work is taking place in association with Coventry University's 'Workplace Wellbeing' challenge. Initial assessments have all taken place and in 12 weeks time they will be assessed again to see if their level of fitness has improvement.
The team at West Bromwich would like to raise £1000 for Help for Heroes and we wish them the best of luck with their challenge.
Arco Hull
Our Customer Service Manager at Arco Hull, Sarah Shaw, has been nominated to run for the Macmillan Cancer Support team in the 2011 Virgin London Marathon on 17th April.
Sarah has pledged to raise an impressive £3,000 for the event and is currently training hard for her Marathon run.
We wish Sarah the best of luck for her challenge!
Arco Chandlers Ford
Kris Hitchmen, from Arco Chandlers Ford, is planning to undertake the '60 Mile Classic Oxfordshire Sponsored Bike Ride' in aid of Breast Cancer Research on Sunday 8th May.
The team at Chandles Ford and all the staff at Arco would like to wish Kris the best of luck with his bike ride and in raising as much money as he can for a very worthy charity.
