A group of keen sporting enthusiasts from Arco have recently competed in the 'It's a Knockout" event at Dove House Hospice in Hull. This is the 2nd year that these enthusiastic Arco employees have entered a team. Last year, 'Team Floppy Drive' entered and finished 6th out of 8.
This year, the team from Arco consisted of more than just the IT team, members from the HD&F group and Exports Department joined forces to compete in the competition. Aptly named Arconauts, the team finished 6th out of 12.
All funds raised have been donated to the Dove House Hospice. Collectively all the teams that competed raised a rather commendable £21,000 - £700 of this was raised by the "Acronauts".
This achievement will hopefully be matched next year as the team has already agreed to enter next year's event - "Olympics - It's a knockout!"
