Companies being kept up to speed with health and safety legislation Ensuring both small local companies and national businesses are kept up to date with the latest health and safety legislation is among the steps being taken by a consultancy firm, it has been reported.

According to Messenger Newspapers, The Safety Group has the aim of ensuring companies adhere to health and safety standards and that workplace accidents are kept to a minimum.

The Altrincham-based company was founded by experienced consultants Lee Taylor and Stuart Beaumont, who also believe that increased knowledge in the field will boost the speed in which work is carried out.

Speaking to the publication, Mr Taylor said: "We are here to keep businesses updated with changes in legislation and we advise our clients on how to conform to these.

"Our expertise helps to minimise accident rates and claims, reduce insurance, legal and labour costs, and improve productivity."

To ensure that staff remain safe when carrying out work, it may be necessary for them to wear high-visibility clothing that meets the required standards.

Keeping this workwear clean is also essential to ensure that it is as visible as possible.ADNFCR-1200-ID-19616847-ADNFCR
