HSE announces noise and vibration talk for construction firms Construction firms have been alerted to a new noise and vibration-related seminar set to be held in March.

The forum, which is being held by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), is designed to highlight the value of investing in machinery which is quieter than the current norm.

According to the body, adopting this approach makes it easier for companies to identify and manage the risks associated with excessive noise and vibration in the workplace.

"If your company supplies noisy or vibrating equipment then this event is for you," the HSE explained.

"It will also be useful for makers of sub-assemblies, plus those who provide advice and guidance on design for low noise and vibration."

Additional objectives of the seminar include helping delegates understand their legal duties and explaining the market advantage provided by developing low-noise and vibration equipment.

The seminar is free to attend and will take place at Coventry City Football Club's RICOH Arena on March 2nd.ADNFCR-1200-ID-19551136-ADNFCR
