HSE to hold safe transport seminar A new seminar designed to highlight the importance of safe transport in the workplace will be held in the UK tomorrow (January 12th), it has been confirmed.

Business executives whose employees operate machinery are invited to attend the talk, which will take place at Middlesbrough Football Club's Riverside Stadium.

The seminar is the joint brainchild of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the North East of England Process Industry Cluster and Safety Groups UK.

An HSE statement read: "The project aims to reduce injuries and incidents arising from the movement of goods from supplier through haulier to the recipient and end user, including any home deliveries."

Speakers from a number of organisations - such as the RoSPA, the RHA and the VOSA - will be present and particular attention will be given to discussing the Moving Goods Safely project.
