HazardEx PPE seminars touring the globe UK businesses looking for safety clothing and equipment may have already attended a HazardEx seminar, an exhibition put on by the HazardEx Journal to discuss safety issues inherent in process plants.

Now, the experts are touring around the globe with plans to hold winer events in middle eastern countries such as Qatar and Kuwait, according to Processingtalk.

One key segment of the talks relates to arc flash [welding?] incidents and the measures being needed increasingly to keep workers safe.

Discussing the steps that can be taken, the process engineer website said: "These can be as simple as having the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) available for use when returning equipment and switchgear to service after maintenance."

The next conference to be held in the UK will take place next year in Portsmouth on February 27th and 28th.
