Housing association wins RoSPA award A housing association has won a prestigious accolade from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its work in keeping staff and residents safe in its properties.

Homes for Haringey, which operates in the north London borough, was handed a Gold Occupational Health and Safety award by the charity after being judged on its health and safety management systems.

Chief executive of the association Paul Bridge commented: "We are delighted to have received such a prestigious award from the RoSPA. The award shows how seriously we take the health and safety of our residents and staff, and recognises the work we have put in.

"Health and safety is a top priority for us, and we will continue to work hard to improve even further," he added.

Companies that are looking to replicate the body's success could invest in safety signs to put up around the workplace informing staff of any potential dangers in the vicinity.
