London organisations support HSE campaign A number of organisations across London have come out in support of the Health and Safety Executive's (HSE's) Shattered Lives campaign.

Safety helmets customers who are targeted in the campaign will receive information about how to reduce the number of slips and falls in the workplace.

Among the seven groups to back the scheme are the Brent Cross Shopping Centre, sandwich manufacturer Greencore Group and Michelin-starred restaurant Tamarind.

Tom Nathan, general manager of Brent Cross Shopping Centre, said: "It's an absolute priority for us that excellent levels of health and safety are maintained for our workers and our customers."

He emphasised that workers need to feel that they are not at risk when doing their jobs and that their welfare is a major concern.

Wearing safety helmets when conducting any work at height could reduce the chance of injury in the event of a fall.

According to the HSE guidelines on personal protective equipment, it is important to ensure that safety gear can be adjusted to fit the wearer correctly.ADNFCR-1200-ID-19091507-ADNFCR
