PPE advice for businesses in case flooding happens again

PPE advice for businesses in case flooding happens again After last year's flooding in the UK, businesses may be interested to hear of safety advice being offered by a news provider in order to inform people of how to properly clean up their workplace.

The Reno Gazette Journal listed a number of tips from agency Bishop, some of which involved safety clothing and equipment.

"Wear protective clothing, including rubber gloves and rubber boots, when cleaning homes with flood damage," the advice read.

It also suggested that people may wish to hire professional cleaning firms to deal with the mess.

Last summer's flooding, which affected south Yorkshire and the Midlands particularly badly, was estimated to have caused more than £2 billion worth of damage to homes and businesses.

According to Bishop, flood damage can result in the need to remove entire walls, which would naturally require the use of demolition safety equipment, such as hard hats, face masks and possibly eye protection.ADNFCR-1200-ID-18418057-ADNFCR
