RoSPA supports plans to tackle driver fatalities The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has welcomed a new government initiative aimed at reducing the number of drivers killed and injured on the country's roads.

In particular, RoSPA said it would like to see more government action aimed at occupational drivers and said it had already developed an advanced test aimed at such motorists.

Kevin Clinton, head of road safety at RoSPA, said; "The idea of better equipping people who will need to drive as part of their job is extremely important, as between a third and a quarter of the deaths on Britain's roads are linked to people being at work at the time."

A number of road safety videos and resources have been developed by the organisation, aimed at informing employers about the risks faced by occupational drivers.ADNFCR-1200-ID-18583744-ADNFCR
