Safety clothing given to culling teams Safety clothing and other protective equipment has been bought and given to culling teams dealing with an avian flu epidemic, it has been reported.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has met with health, food and livestock officials to discuss the human transmission of the virus to people in Pakistan, according to the International News.

Protective equipment is being used to try to prevent the spread of the virus, while the media tries to raise the public's awareness of the problem.

Safety items to combat the H5N1 strain of bird flu have seen a lot of use across the globe recently, with the weekend's reports of outbreaks in Germany and last month's leak in Suffolk.

The WHO has committed teams to the country and has vowed to stay in the area until the problem is properly dealt with.ADNFCR-1200-ID-18399268-ADNFCR
