Toxin workers should wear protective clothing, expert says For those whose work involves daily contact with toxic chemicals, respirators and other items of protective clothing are a must, an expert has said.

Peter Sutovsky, professor of animal sciences and gynecology at the Univeristy of Missouri's College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, said people should avoid exposure to toxins as much as possible, according to Medical News Today.

His research involved the studying of sperm cells and he found using protective equipment, along with not smoking and living a healthy lifestyle, can help to prevent them from becoming defective.

Mr Sutovsky's findings were published in the Journal of Cellular Physiology.

In recent years, dealing with toxins has been one of the Health & Safety Commission's main priorities, with dangerous substances being made the body's chief focus in 2003 - the same year that it produced the last ever Toxic Substances Bulletin.ADNFCR-1200-ID-18441740-ADNFCR
