Road safety programme wins award

 Road safety programme wins award Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership's young driver initiative, 2fast2soon, has won the Prince Michael International Road Safety Award For Education And Training.

The overarching aim of the initiative is to educate drivers and passengers aged between 17 to 24 - the age group most likely to be killed or seriously injured on our roads, This is Lincolnshire reported.

As part of the programme, young people watch an emotive theatre production featuring real emergency service personnel and real victims of road traffic collisions.

The scenes demonstrate how road traffic accidents can affect people's lives.

Greville Burgess, 2fast2soon producer, thanked everyone involved in the project.

"It is both an honour and a privilege to receive this award on behalf of LRSP and I am particularly grateful to everyone who has been involved in this programme," he told the news provider.
