44C8067 Loctite 55 PTFE Sealing Cord

Loctite 55 is a unique and modern alternative to pastes, hemp and PTFE tape. It instantly seals (irrespective of temperature), domestic and industrial pipe systems and can be safely and confidently used with drinking or waste water, gas, compressed air, and industrial oils.
Seals upto 6 inch diameter metal pipes and can be safely used on brass, copper, stainless steel, cast iron, galvanised, chrome and nickel plated parts.
Loctite 55 will let the user back off (upto a full turn if necessary) without leakage and is the ideal maintenance sealing tool. Approvals: potable Water; Loctite 55 is WRC listed for use with potable water upto 85°C (meets BS 6920); Gas; Loctite 55 carries
EN 751-2 Class A, Rp (DVGW approval) together with DIN 30660.
