This safety footwear meets EN ISO 20345 (successor to BSEN345) for safety footwear and offers the highest protection. Toecaps tested to 200 Joule. Classification S (see below).

Anti-shock fatigue reduction system uvex HydroflexÆ GEL
HydroflexÆ GEL is a special polymer gel which provides excellent shock absorption and comfort. The gel's absorbing attribute allows a gradual deceleration as energy is converted from kinetic to heat.
The gel's springy attribute allows a comfortable change in direction as the kinetic energy is used to de-form the gel and then the gel takes on its original shape.
HydroflexÆ GEL not only gives a recognisable level of comfort to the wearer, but it also acts as protection for bones, joints and the spine and helps in the prevention of arthritis.
