The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) publish annual summary statistics for workplace injuries in Great Britain.

Below are the latest statistics available for 2019/2020:

  • There were an estimated 693,000 non-fatal injuries to workers according to self-reports from the Labour Force Survey
  • 65,427 employee non-fatal injuries reported by employers under RIDDOR
  • An estimated 6.3 million working days are lost to non-fatal workplace injuries according to self-reports from the Labour Force Survey
