Purchasing Lists


Purchasing Lists are a way to help you add items to your shopping basket that you buy on a regular basis. Instead of finding each individual item using the product search or adding it to your basket using Quick Order, you can configure a Purchasing List. Purchasing Lists are like a 'favourites' or shopping list that will allow you to add multiple items to your shopping basket at once.


Step 2

You can set up Purchasing Lists yourself from the Product Details page, or you can telephone the Arco website help desk (on 01482 611433) if you have specific requirements or need help setting up your list.

To set up a Purchasing List, find a product that you wish to add to the list. For help finding products refer to the Product Search part of the guide. When you have found a product that you would like to add to your Purchasing List, select the 'add to purchasing list' button on the left hand side of the Product Details page.


Step 3 - Add to purchasing list

Choosing to add a product to a Purchasing List will take you to the Add To Purchasing List screen.

On this screen you will see all the product variations that are available to you. First, use the creation controls at the top of the page to choose whether you are going to add the items to a new purchasing list, or add them to an existing one. If you are creating a new list, enter a name for the list (purchasing list names must be unique). If you are adding to an existing list, choose from the lists available in the drop down.

Next, use the checkboxes to select which items you want to add to the purchasing list. When you have made your selection, select the 'Add' button.

You can select the 'Cancel' option at any time to quit the process without making any changes to your purchasing lists.


Step 4 - Menu path to view purchasing lists

To access your Purchasing Lists you should open the 'my account' menu on the menu bar and choose the 'Purchasing Lists' option.


Step 5 - Viewing purchasing list(s)

On the Purchasing List Screen you will be able to see a list of your purchasing lists.

You have the ability to change the names of your purchasing lists or delete those that you no longer need. If you want to rename a list, change the name in the text box, then choose the Update Name Changes button. To delete a list, mark it using the checkbox next to the list name and then choose the Delete Selected button.

To view a Purchasing List, select the View next to the list.


Step 6 - Viewing contents of a purchasing list

You will then be shown the contents of the Purchasing List you have selected.

Then you can now enter the quantities of each product that you require. When you have finished entering your quantities, select the 'add these quantities to basket' button at the bottom of the page.

A confirmation message will be displayed when your products have been added to your basket.


Step 7 - Removing items from a purchasing list

If there are items in your list that you no longer require, then tick the checkbox next to that item in the list and select the 'delete selected' button underneath the list. N.B. Please note this option may not be available to all users.
