For Safer People

Making a positive impact on people, customers and the wider community

Everywhere social and economic inequality exists, people risk being harmed.

That's why we always aim to do the right thing for our people, our customers and the wider community - by using our regional, national and global influence to make positive impact - everywhere we operate.

Reducing inequality and helping communities thrive

From our membership of the Ethical Trading Initiative, our work with Action for Children and the NHS, to harnessing the value of apprenticeships and creating opportunities for people around the world, we are delivering positive change for those touched by our operations.

Our key focus areas include:

Social value for individuals and communities: We're creating social value through community partnerships and providing educational opportunities in local communities both in the UK and overseas.

A socially responsible supply chain: We use our influence to enhance working & living standards.

Colleague wellbeing: We are committed to fair pay, supporting colleagues wellbeing and providing development opportunities.
