This is a floor-mounted emergency safety shower and eye/face wash unit designed for use in environments where freezing temperatures risk water within the pipework becoming frozen. Trace tape heating and polyurethane foam insulation with a medium-density polyethylene outer casing ensure reliable operation down to -25°C, allowing workers exposed to hazardous substances to use the unit without risk of malfunction in cold climates. ATEX Zone 1 and 2 certified for use in hazardous gas environments, it is constructed throughout from stainless steel pipework and fittings and features a full-bore stay-open ball valve for immediate, unimpeded flow in an emergency. Supplied with safety shower and eye/face wash sign including inserts for mounting to the pipework or pull handle.
