Often referred to simply as fire hose couplings, Storz couplings are actually suited to a wide range of applications in a range of industries including agriculture, construction, maritime safety, military and refineries due to their durable construction that is resistant to acids, water and corrosion. This straight-through coupling is the male half of a two-part system in which both halves are identical. Each half has forward projecting lugs and mating recesses so parts with the same lug dimensions will connect.
